Metro:The Passeig de Gràcia station (L2, L3, and L4) is steps away from the hotel, providing easy access from various points in the city.

The Induction Ceremony will be held in the Paranimf, the great ceremonial hall of the University of Barcelona’s Historic Building. Designed by architect Elies Rogent and completed in 1884, it is the most emblematic academic space in the city. Its richly decorated interior, with polychrome stucco, a coffered ceiling and large historical paintings, has hosted the university’s most solemn academic events for generations. It is a fitting setting for welcoming the new Fellows of the College.

Torre Melina, a Gran Meliá Hotel is the setting for the Gala Dinner of the meeting. Set in around 25,000 m² of romantic 19th-century gardens with century-old trees and a lake, originally designed by Josep Fontserè, it offers an elegant black-tie evening in a peaceful green setting.

Located on Avinguda Diagonal, Torre Melina is approximately 20-25 minutes by car from Hotel Avenida Palace, the meeting venue.
